Leeds Village Hall is a welcoming community venue situated in the heart of Leeds village, close to St Nicholas Church and The George Inn.

The building has an interesting history. From the outside it retains the appearance of its original use as an Army hut, but inside it offers an attractive, characterful and surprisingly spacious venue for community activities, meetings, clubs and private events.

A Hall for the Community

The Village Hall is run by the village for the village and provides an important meeting and social space for local residents, organisations and community groups.

The Hall is available to hire for a wide range of activities and occasions, including:

• community groups and clubs;
• meetings;
• classes and activities;
• children's parties;
• family celebrations;
• quizzes and social events;
• fundraising events; and
• other appropriate private and community functions.

Reduced hire rates are available for residents of Leeds village.

Facilities

The Hall provides a flexible indoor space suitable for a variety of activities and events.

Parking is available nearby, including parking adjacent to the church.

Over the years, Leeds Village Hall has provided a home for a wide variety of village organisations, clubs and activities, including the Women's Institute, gardening groups, cricket club activities, church groups, table tennis, quizzes, dog training, aikido, line dancing, keep fit, bowls, computer courses and youth activities.

The Hall Committee continues to welcome enquiries from new groups and organisations looking for a local venue.

Table Tennis

The Village Hall has traditionally hosted a weekly table tennis session on Wednesday evenings, providing an opportunity for local residents to get together and enjoy the facilities.
